  • I visited Triglen Food Market on a Sunday, seeking a transit pass. Having never been in the store before, I browsed the few aisles to discover what the store offers. As I neared the counter, I asked the man working there if he sells transit passes. With a palpable bitterness, he snapped, "No!" I turned to keep browsing the aisle and after a pause, he said, "What do you want?!" I said, "Pardon?" "What you want?!" he repeated. I said, "Oh, a monthly transit pass." He then shouted, "You have to leave!" I said, "Excuse me?" He yelled, "You have to leave! I have to go to the bathroom! You have to leave!" With that, I left the store. I understand the urgency of a gastrointestinal emergency but I think this man could have been friendlier about it. Furthermore, I don't think he even really had to go. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience at this store and am unlikely to return.
