  • It is absolutely rediculous to have 5 people working in 1 department, never getting a hello, a smile, or being asked if they can help with anything. I DREAD going to my local Frys (Baseline in Tempe, AZ) because each and every one of your employees (with very few exceptions) acts as if they would be pleased to see the store on fire. I knew exactly what I wanted (it had to be gotten from behind the counter) and I was completely ignored. While they stood around and talked to each other. After waiting for what seemed to be a very long time, and having employees purposely evade eye contact I was finally said hello to. I told them what I wanted and was told to wait. Nicole then helped me, and she was the FIRST employee at your location I have seen even SMILE. She helped me find what I wanted, and allowed me to talk to the supervisor, Tammy, who essentially told me to talk to the store manager. She was not apologetic, she didn't seem like it was anything unusual, in fact she seemed like this behavior was accepted, even welcomed by employees. When i got up to the line, the ladt who was "directing traffic" was on her phone, ignoring customers. My cashier did not smile, barely said hello. I love Frys, but dread coming to this location. A serious overhaul is needed. This Frys does not live up to the motto "Fry's services the hi-tech professional by focusing on our motto of always providing each customer with fast, friendly, courteous service." This frys is a better example of slow, aloof, rude service. This is not what I have come to expect for Frys electronics as a whole... but sadly is a very common experience at this particular Frys. The manager I ended up speaking with told me she ALREADY KNEW there was a problem, but she didn't seem like they were going to try to do anything about this. If I didn't need the products I purchased today for a meeting tomorrow, I would have gladly paid an additional $70 not to have to deal with this store.
