Nice store with a well planned food and wine bars, and more upscale deli offerings. Overall, a nice improvement and a healthy competitor to Publix across the street.
On the negative side, Harris Teeter has issues with hiring staff. Attentive service, smiling faces, and happy-to-see-you attitudes are required ingredients in this competitive space. On this point Publix has the edge.
One can only think of the difference between McDonalds and Chik-Fil-A. No contest yet they both hire from the same pool of potentials. I'm pulling for ya, HT!
PS: Gina E., working the bar, is a wonderful exception to my rather pissy review!
