I see this place is on the chocolate-covered bacon bandwagon, so clearly they are keeping current with Whole Foods and country fair trends. I thought this place was pretty cool to have in the neighborhood, but I don't feel it has the same draw as something like SOMA in the Distillery district. Unfortunately, the prices are nearly just as expensive, so I'm not sure if this place can stay in business without the crowds. That being said, I'd come back here if I was in the area!
The only staff member working when I arrived didn't seem to know the ingredients well; when I told her not to worry about it she seemed happy to oblige and kept to herself for the most part. Not sure what the sugar-free chocolate sweetener would be - sorbital or maltitol is a definite no no when it comes to digestion. The sel de fleur and maple truffles were great!
