So I decided to be a tourist while visiting my boyfriend at CIM. We decided to be kids for a day and went to the Museum of Natural History (he had done some composing work for the planetarium in the past and wanted to show me the exhibits that inspired his work).
I'm from NYC, and I practically grew up visiting the Museum of Natural History on the West Side every year, but I was still really entertained here. The place is designed to be very educational, so it's a great place for kids. A lot of the exhibitions are interactive, and as a 22 year old, it was still fun to go through some of them.
Boyfriend tried to drag me away from the precious gems and jewels... smh.
The geology exhibits are actually pretty cool, and there was a mini zoo outside with lots of animals. Yay animals~ It was pretty cool, because I wasn't expecting it at all.
I wish there was an easier way to navigate the exhibitions. My boyfriend and I kept walking through exhibits in reverse chronological order. It was like traveling back in time~
