| - This is honestly the worst dentist I have ever been to. I went in 2 weeks ago, with a cavity and an infection in my tooth. It was looked at, x-ray done, then the dentist came in to look at it. Said he could pull it right then if i wanted, i asked if he thought it could be saved via a root canal, he said he was not sure as my roots are short and curved. I decided to try to see an endotontist, they said they would prescribe me something for pain and antibiotics for the infection. The doctor had my medical file, which stated that i had a blood disorder before he came into the room. He then decided that he was going to prescribe me motrin (which, due to my blood disorder i can not take) i told him that, he told me i could because it isn't aspririn. I looked it up to be 100% sure even though i was diagnosed with the disorder 15 years ago. Sure enough can't take it. I tell him again i can not take it, he had his nurse tell me that i could and it's fine. I understand that not every doctor/dentist knows everything about every disorder there is, and that's fine. But he didn't even have the decency to take 30 seconds to look up my disorder after i told him TWICE i could not take motrin. He wouldn't prescribe me any other pain medications so i ended up leaving in excruciating pain with nothing to help. then he decided that he could no longer pull the tooth if i needed that done, i would need to go to an oral surgeon, which would take 2 weeks from the time the referral was sent. Today i called back to get the referral to the oral surgeon as it is too expensive and not worth it to get a root canal. They told me it would take 30 days for the referral, the woman who was speaking to me was rude, interrupted me constantly, and would not directly answer any question i had. When i mentioned that the doctor wouldn't even prescribe me something for the pain, the office put in that i declined the motrin, i then had to explain to her why i had to decline. Then she tells me I'm not their patient any longer, that some mysterious thing happened where i was there patient and now I'm not, i called my insurance, because the woman at the dentist office told me that they did not change it, my insurance said they hadn't changed it either, and i sure as hell didn't do it. When i asked to speak to the woman's manager at the dentists office she told me she was the manager so i clearly was not going to get anywhere with it and decided i would go somewhere else. The doctor tried to prescribe me medication that could seriously harm me, and they are rude. I can not believe how awful this dentists office is, they are the reason that people despise dentists and going to see them.
