  • I just got PRK done on both my eyes, and I couldn't be happier. I had all my pre and post ops with Dr. McCandless, and he is the sweetest most down to earth guy. He's super knowledgeable and walks through everything with you. They were very thorough with all the exams and hence why we chose PRK for my surgery over traditional LASIK. After the pre ops, I was not an eligible candidate for LASIK, but a candidate for PRK. It took me about 8-10 months from my first visit to actually decide to go through with the procedure. And not once in that time frame did I ever get harassed or hounded about it. And that, to me, shows that they aren't there for money like some of the other offices, but to do what is best for you. Dr. Wellish, who does the procedures, is also a very sweet man, and very knowledgeable. I would completely trust him with my eyes. I'm just thrilled that my eye doctor recommended this place, and that I can wake up and see clearly.
