This is a very nice looking modern trendy up to date store, and it has a variety of different options for food, hot food, sushi bar, etc.
However, if I need to go to a high end grocery store I would prefer whole foods over AJ's any day... AJ doesn't have as much diversity or the extensive variety as whole foods and the prices @ AJ's are equally as high.
In terms of customer service - people @ AJ's seem okay, but they don't seem quite as nice as they are at whole foods nor do they seem as knowledgeable. For example, we wanted to get some imported prosciutto from AJ's and wanted it sliced paper thin to the point of where it breaks apart, so that you can wrap the meat around bread sticks or a piece of melon and they staff at AJ's was not able to accommodate this relatively simple task. I don't know anyone that eats prosciutto sliced thickly as it tastes pretty nasty that way.
Also I noticed they had my favorite French bread brioche @ AJ's, but they charge $3.00 more for the same bread that I can find at other grocery stores.
For these reasons I hardly frequent AJ's - I believe it's overpriced and lacking in quality customer service. I would not recommend others to go to AJ's either ... stick to Whole Foods!
