| - This place is great if you're looking to get into urban cycling. (I'm assuming it's great for other forms of cycling too, but this was my experience...) I went into Curbside Cycle after months of internally debating whether or not to get a bike. I didn't know what I wanted, but luckily the owner is clairvoyant (ok, I'm exaggerating, but just a little...) and was able to not only direct me to what would have been a perfect bike, but also educated me on what to look for in a commuter bike. Although said perfect bike was stunning (beautiful baby blue coloured bike with a bell and rack), the $700 price tag was a bit steep for me. I ended up getting a bike at a different bike shop, but there are days that I wish I had spent the extra little bit on the beautiful blue one. But, I digress... The only reason I have given this place 3 stars is because the owner insisted that this was the *only* bike that would work for what I wanted. I felt it was a tad big (I'm 5' tall) and asked if he had something smaller. His answer was a flat out "no." I felt that he should have shown me something else, but at the same time, he was probably right - that bike was exactly what I was looking for. If I wanted a sturdy Dutch bike (or Dutch-style bike) for my daily commute, I would definitely go here.
