| - I'm not happy with them. First, the person scheduling the service call for my leaking washing machine didn't get my address correct. Luckily the technician noticed something wasn't right and called before driving 30 minutes to the opposite side of town. I gave them the correct address, but then they couldn't find it using GPS, so I had to text them directions.
Second, when I scheduled the service call there was no mention of a charge for this, so I was surprised when the technician, after about 2-3 minutes of checking out the machine, said you need a new one, it'll cost about $500 to fix... That'll be $65.
Third, both technicians spent more time talking on the phone to other customers and the main office than they did talking to me.
After they left I spoke with their manager, Don, and complained that no one told me about the $65 fee. He basically said of course there's a fee, he doesn't know of anyone that doesn't charge. He may not know of one, but this was my first time calling an appliance repair company, so I certainly didn't know that.
I think it's only fair and good business to respect your customer and not charge them for something when they were not told they would be charged. I believe Don should have refunded the charge and at least made a real attempt to remedy the situation.
