My family was new to the school and right away noticed poor communication between the school and parents. There was an email sent 2 days before the due date that if the recital fee is not paid on time there would be a $75 late fee. Since I don't live near the school, and my child has class only 1 day a week, I incurred the late fee. Why was this email not sent a week early?
I also paid $10 for a recital DVD that my child was in. I called the school and stopped in to ask for the DVD and each time was told it was not ready. I have yet to receive the DVD I paid for. If your new to this school you will have a hard time figuring out how things work because no one will tell you. At the very least they should have a new parent meeting or a welcome packet explaining all of their policies, rules, fees, etc.
