This place is bigger on the inside than on the outside. From the street you just see a tiny storefront, but once you go in the store just keeps going and going, with boxes and boxes of titles and huge walls of trade paperbacks. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the selection is better than the upstairs comic-and-skiffy shop at the Bloor Street BMV.
I can't say much to the service, because I didn't stay long. I came in, I went straight for the section I wanted and found what I was looking for, and bought it and left. The guys at the cash were friendly and said hi when I stepped in. That doesn't always happen when you go to a comic shop you've never been to before. ;)
Okay, that's a lie, I didn't just come in and go out. I browsed for a bit. See... I'm new-ish to Western comics. I've been a manga junkie for years and I've only just started seriously reading what's available on this side of that particular pond. I went in looking for a particular title (anything based on Michael Moorcock's "Elric" novels) and found it right beside something else that was very very tempting (Marvel's adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma" -- be still my heart) and barely escaped with anything left in my wallet.
The place is conducive to browsing, clean and well-lit with good organization. I'll definitely be back.
