  • I have an older All Clad slow cooker that I never used or took out of the box and then started using about a year ago. My electrical unit went out in the middle of cooking, this was MAYBE the 5th time I used it ever. I contacted All Clad and they gave me two solutions. 1) to drive about an hour and a half away from my home to have it repaired (but they don't know how much it will be or if it can be fixed without seeing it. OH! Or I could send it via UPS for repair) or 2) give them a discounted $120 to buy another poorly made crock pot. If you check their amazon reviews MANY people have the exact same issue with these crock pots. Either the ceramic insert cracks or the electrical component goes and All Clad is not the best at handling these situations they'd just happily take your money again for another one. This is particularly disappointing because all of my other All Clad products are amazing. It's also disappointing because this is a reported problem in product reviews of this slow cooker all over the internet. BUYER BEWARE!!
