  • I guess this place was THE place to be back in the days? I was told by some locals that I was crazy for not having been here. We got lucky, and got a free admission into the bar due to watching a boxing match a couple hours earlier. I don't know what the hype is, but, it was a bit overrated for me. The outdoor patio, is cool and all, but, I can get the same view from a high hotel floor area, or there's the Standard in DT Los Angeles that overlooks the city and has way cooler stuff going on. That place is a bit old news too, but I"m just saying. Nice posh place, fancy shmancy prices for cocktails, and a view but a small area at best. I don't know if I'd ever pay $20 cover for ladies and $30 cover for men to get in here. Even if it were free, I'd probably pick somewhere else to go. It's def cool to check out once, but I got there and left within 30 minutes.
