So CAMS is the association management service that is currently attending to the building I just moved into. So far my experience with them hasn't been all that bad... but it hasn't been rainbows and unicorns either.
Attended an HOA meeting in their office (which I had been to already to drop of deposits and start my account, etc). Apparently there are some tenants that have been ignored, which is a big red flag in my book. Luckily, everyone voiced their concerns and hopefully some corrective actions will be taken for a better relationship - but it was a little tense during the meeting.
CAMS does not just manage our building, but they have several other properties on their watch so I can imagine it being a tough thing to keep up with all the tenants in my building along with several other properties. Still... they are still providing us a service that we definitely pay for. Moving forward... I think we are good, but hopefully the feedback from the meeting will give CAMS a little more incentive to be a little more communicative - but same goes for the homeowners end in creating a good community to live in.
