Walking into this place, it seems like a cute, tucked away, authentic Japanese restaurant. There are little cubicles/booths with some Japanese paintings on the walls. The sushi bar was really cute and stocked with fish.
I read that this place is owned by Koreans and not Japanese people lol they were saying "anasayo" or w/e in Korean and I was like waaaait a minute (I'm not Korean but i know that ain't japanese) hahah.
Anyways, the food was fresh and the super white tuna was really white. Everything seemed like it was prepared with delicacy and was appealing to the eye.
I always look for rolls that are full of flavor-- but aren't completely drenched in sauces.
I recommend the popcorn roll, has lobster inside and out. The pieces weren't too big and you are able to order 1/2 rolls.
Dessert selection was sparse. They only have GT, mango, mochi vanilla/strawberry.
They ran out of mochi ice cream :(
The mango ice cream was gross and so was the GT it didn't even taste like matcha.
