I bought a new 2016 Dodge Journey on 02/28/2016 and while driving the engine shuts off causing the car to loose brakes and power steering. One time with my kids and there were 18 wheeler behind us and were about to be killed. Then it happen one more time in traffic light and it happen twice which I was about to hit a tree and the car was about to jump on the curb. I went to the superstition dealer and told them about the problem. They took the car and they said there is nothing wrong in the car and they gave it back to me. I told them please replace with a similar car same exact. They said no and they were very upset that the give me rental car. I told them this could kill someone if the car fail to brake, they said there is nothing we can do. I contacted the National High Way Safety and they informed me that there are two other cars reported with the same issue and families were about to get killed. I contacted the dealer again and told them this model has an issue and same answer "There is nothing we can do". They do not care about people safety and they just collect money, car is only 7000 miles and under warranty and they do not want to take responsibility. The car did it again on Saturday August 06 and car failed to brake and driving wheel locked while car was moving. That is huge safety issue and I contacted Dodge and they told me dealer has to initiate a replacement but the dealer refused. Do not buy from them. You will not get help and you are on your own if you have a problem.
