  • BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Had such high hopes having just done an escape the room in florida. Came back to az and saw this place had high ratings so i booked a reservation for "the dig" room. Checked in and found out we were the only ones who were going to be in the room. Were waiting for our host and notice a girl crouched down staring down at us from the 2nd floor. the person who checked us in noticed we were looking up and then saw the girl too and turns out she was the host wed been waiting for. Kinda weirded me out thay she was just staring down at us instead of coming down to get us setup for the room. Our host marissa began the introduction with "this room is usually done with more than 2 people so i dont know how well your going to do" wow. Talk about discouraging from the get go. She seemed like she was drunk or something too, her eyes were glazed and she was just very awkward. I wont say anything about the room but i will say the clues she gave us were horrible, she kept mispelling everything and telling us things that made no sense. During the hour i had to use the restroom really bad, i had gone before i went in but i have a small bladder so I had to go again. I made a signal to the camera that i really needed to go and to pause the game but she never allowed me to go. This made the rest of the time completely unenjoyable and miserable because i was just focused on trying to hold my bladder until the hour would be up so the door would unlock. we obviously didnt complete the room, and as soon as she opened the door i said "hey why didnt you let me use the bathroom, i know you were watching us with there camera in there?" And she says "well didnt you go before?". EXCUSE ME. how rude are you. I dont need you to question when i use the restroom. Horrible customer service. I feel like escape thw room games are totally dependent on the host. We had a horrible host so we had a horrible time for almost $70. And this place doesnt even do military discount like most escape rooms. WILL NOT BE BACK.
