  • Worst experience I have EVER had with renting a vehicle. Received a great deal through Hotwire so that was great. However, I needed to extend and it was a nightmare from there. Customer service for extension of rentals kept diverting me to the Hertz Rental counter and telling me to call them, but you cannot reach any live person. Then, the Hertz tel# at McCarran stated that they would call back after a message was left. But, low and behold that NEVER HAPPENED. As a result, I ended up paying an exuberant amount ($500+) versus the $100 + dollars it should have cost for 6 days. I also went to the counter at the Hertz Rewards office and the drama continued. I ended up leaving dissatisfied but now I know that I will NEVER give HERTZ my business in the future. ~DON'T DO IT IF YOU KNOW THAT LIFE HAPPENS, YOUR RENTAL NEEDS MAY CHANGE. THING WILL BE CRAZY!!
