  • It's hurts me to write this. I had such high hopes for this system. We ordered the pulse system which included door and window contacts, a motion detector, indoor camera, outdoor camera and key fob. We were talked into a bundle type deal from another company. We were promised 99 dollar install for a 2 year contract. That was fine and it worked OK. The motion detection was supposed to not be triggered by an animal under 100 pounds but my 40 pound dog kept setting it off and the cameras only recording for 30 seconds was a real let down. But whatever. The real problem is that I decided to call and ask how much to just buy another camera outright. The guy had great news. He said they were offering a promotion where I could get another camera for free, and my bill would go down by $9 with no other charges. The guy came to hook it up and he took so long that by the time he was done, I just signed for it without really looking at the paper. (I know) Then I got the bill for the $239 install. Yes, it was listed on the paperwork, my fault for not reading. I trusted the guy on the phone and since I had already signed one contract before,i stupidly thought I didn't need to look it over. We called and there was nothing they could do. Also, we were promised a $ 100 visa gift card for signing up which we never got. We called and we're informed that we didn't go to the website and register for it within the first 30 days, which we were not told to do. So, I'm kinda feeling like this "security company" robbed me of about $339. So, I guess what I'm saying is, if I could, I'd have them pick it up right now and go with another company just because it's not worth the monthly fee due to its limitations that are overlooked when I was sold the system. Beside the fact that t that they taught me a very valuable lesson for only $339 that I will never forget. BE CAREFUL! READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING! And maybe shop around and ask around.
