  • After having my Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus PRO guitar damaged by another shop, I was desperately looking for a skilled luthier. I have had dealt with this shop before, buying a case for a Regal Duolian resonator that I previously owned. So, after hearing a few very good things about Dave Ayers, I decided to give him a try. I brought my Les Paul in to have a new nut made and set up done for playing electric slide guitar. Parts were ordered and a few days later, Dave called to talk about what I wanted with the set up and nut height. We talked and I felt like he was on the same page. A couple of days later, I received another courtesy call letting me know that the nut blank from GraphTech had arrived and in a few hours my Les Paul would be singing better than new. I went and picked up the guitar that evening, taking it for a test drive in the shop on a good amp. The set up and parts that were made to fit my guitar were absolutely PERFECT. Dave did a fantastic job!! I couldn't be happier. I will be returning for any other modifications or repairs needed to my two other guitars. This shop is HIGHLY recommended.
