  • I am finding myself visiting the Metro Market more than I ever thought I would. Despite me living on Fitchburg, when I am in the area, I do stop in for quick items to pick up. The staff are extremely nice and make sure they ask if you've found everything you were looking for. The store is constantly clean and the parking lot is hardly ever flooded with carts. They really do a fantastic job up keeping the store, both inside and outside. Two problems I have with the store are prices and being charged incorrectly for items. Be sure to check your recipes! They are more pricy than other grocery stores like Woodmans. I liken them to Hy-Vee in terms of the prices but unlike Hy-Vee, their produce are actually good quality! Still, I cannot grocery shop here due to high prices but they are a great option to pick up small items to get you through the week or even for a special meal. As someone who was strongly against this store opening in the neighborhood during the time that I lived in the area, I am happy I was proven to be wrong. Great store for the local community.
