Service makes or breaks a restaurant. There was a healthy wait and we found a couple of spots at the bar. The bartender Pamela did what I consider best practices. She introduced herself along with everyone else behind the bar and said to please ask anyone if we'd like something. That's just good , smart service.
We ordered drinks from the drink menu. I asked the bartender for a recommendation. Her favorite was a BeeSting. I thought I may have to wrestle my wife for it. I am happy to do that.
Really good! We ordered the sampler plate. (The smaller one) we both ate from it and have healthy portions to bring home. Highlights were the pork, brisket , ribs , mac & cheese & collard greens. Wait ... Thats everything. They had a vinegar soaking in peppers for the collard greens . Whoa! Almost forgot jalapeƱos with cheese wrapped in bacon.... Seriously! Friendly service, great food. We will be back with friends.
