Too bad there is no option to rate this outfit with - 5 stars!
My package was not delivered last Wednesday because there was nobody at 1:30 pm (!) to sign for it. OK, the shipper required a signature on this shipment. I understand. I was alerted by the text message that the notice was left at the front door. Instantly went online and requested re-delivery next day. Came home after work and filled out the slip left at the door, signed it and left it for the mail person to see. Knowing the ability of this particular post office (or inability) to do their job, I just doubled up on re-delivery. Next day the notice was gone but nothing was delivered. The person I asked to listen to the front door and sign for the package definitely wasted their time for the whole day. The day after that I took an early out from work and came home hoping that the package was there. Nope! Silly me! Ran to the post office, stood in line (of 3 people!) for good 20 minutes. Finally the man at the main counter waived at me and asked what was the deal. I showed him the tracking number on my phone and told him in a few words how frustrated I was. Instead of apology he told me to write the number for him on the paper. I did. Next he asked for my ID. I showed my DL. Ready? He said to write it down for him! I just handed my license to him and suggested to do it himself. A few minutes went by. The guy came back to the counter. I had to sign in two different places and fill out my address etc. Not a single word of apology was offered. I wasted my work time and gas to do what the USPS was paid to do and miserably failed again. I hope that the upper USPS management reads these reviews. It is time to step in and make some major changes at this location!!!
