  • FIRE safety Hazard-the lock on the slimline door is a fire evacuation hazard. The key will just spin in the lock cylinder without engaging the deadbolt. The security door seems to be of great quality. The locking mechanism is a safety/security flaw known to the owner, but they will still sale you the door. Very expensive at $3000. The door is less than 1 year old. The lock is a specialty item, so other than having the entire door replaced there's no way to have the problem remedied.
