| - First time through the market today and I can honestly say I will be back again very soon! I arrived early, found easy parking and was wandering before every booth was even open. At 8am, things were bustling and my first stop was The Tamale Store. The best tamales I have ever had. We had them for dinner tonight and even if the market was lame, I would still return for these tamales. Absolutely delicious and so many different choices. Wish I had purchased a dozen instead of the 1/2! There were quite a few fresh produce setups, fresh baked goods, ginormous fresh baked muffins (The Muffin Girl ... try the Cinnamon Roll one ... divine!), homemade soaps/lotions/essence oils, pet treats, organic and vegan humus, salsa/sauces/infused oils, actual fresh and organic meats, protein bars, multiple food trucks, face painters .... So many options yet I was still able to make it around twice and make my purchases in 1.5 hrs. Items were a bit pricier than I anticipated but this isn't a swap meet I guess and it's all about the quality and supporting our local small businesses. This market is small enough to feel casual, big enough to have a large array of products and was a wonderful way to spend a early Saturday morning! The only change I would make would be a few more craft type booths. I enjoy craft fairs and such and there were only one or two that I recall here. Bring in the home crafters!!!! And give this market a chance. You will be glad you did!
