  • Every year, my husband and I buy season tickets. We have a 2.5 year old, so we mainly stick to the playground area. My only beef with this place is the lazy river, now the Crazy Cactus. Every time we try to get in line for this attraction, it is a brawl fest mosh pit. People don't know how to form ONE line, and they end up cutting in front of other people in line. And when people who have finished using their tubes are trying to get out of them, other people are already on top of them, standing in the middle of the water way. I was almost brawled when I was trying to get out of my tube! People are so rude. Last Friday, they tried blocking off the entrance with all the tubes and the plastic barriers. We were standing in line to get a double tube, Of course, others started cutting. They even went so far as to jump the barrier and get their own tubes. Then we were told that our daughter required a life vest. We asked where they were, and the guard told us they were on the other side of the line, behind the tube pile. My husband told her that they needed to be elsewhere, and we got in the water anyway. There seriously needs to be a better system for this attraction. More people need to be manning the line and telling everyone to back off from the water. The huge crowd standing there as you float back to the beginning is rather overwhelming, and you fear for your life when it's time to exit and give up your tube. I never see any lifeguards standing where the line should be, directing traffic. If that isn't their job, then you need to hire some big beefy men to keep people from crowding each other. I enjoy the new attraction, although the Lazy River will be missed. But I have a hard time enjoying it when it comes to all that I mentioned above. It's just too bad that all these years we have been coming here, this has ALWAYS been a problem. It needs to be fixed,
