My family, including some from out of town, had rented a pontoon boat from Bartlett Lake Marina on Sunday May 27th, 2018. We arrived and were waited on immediately by a very friendly staff member. We were shown to our boat and were surprised to find it was not in the best of shape. The staff member giving us our introduction told us about avoiding the hole in the floor that used to house a table (so no table to eat on), the missing swim ladder (we later found), and the non working stereo and MPH gauge. The carpet in the boat and on some of the ledges was stained and ripped which he said was due to it having been a fishing boat. The boats surrounding us all seemed to be in good shape. Maybe ours was the next to be redone???? At any rate we tried to trade up to a nicer boat but because of the holiday weekend could not do so. We could not get a refund so went out on our trip. While the boat performed well, it would have been nice to be for warned of it's esthetic shape beforehand.
I'm not sure I'd rent from here again. Boat descriptions on their website need to include an accurate description of what you're renting. The $350/4 hour trip was not, in my estimation, equal to what we should have been given.
