| - UPDATE: I originally left a review and was unhappy with the result. They did come back out and corrected some of the mistakes with some of the blotching and smudging that happened during the original paint correction process. I've been thinking a lot about updating this review, and I want to be able to recommend them to friends but I just don't know. I've never had any negative interactions with anybody with the company, but I still can't say that I'm happy with the overall result, but there is a definite improvement in how the car looks. I have a used black mustang that had swirling in the paint, and the fact is that there is still swirling after the paint correction. It's not perfect, but is definitely better. From a distance the paint looks great, up close there is obvious swirling. What I would recommend to anybody looking into paint correction is to see if you can make a deal to see how well they are able to remove swirls from the paint before paying for the whole car. Because as you know, paint correction is pricey. If your paint damage was not as bad as mine and your paint will look perfect after paint correction, it is absolutely worth the money. Plus with opticoat your car will look shiny and better than new. If not, you'll be happy with the improvement, but still wondering if it was actually worth all the money. I want to go back to them with my business but I'm really not sure. I will most likely be adding racing stripes or some sort of vinyl in the future and would like to have those opticoated as well, but we'll see. I would be willing to go back with future cars and projects because of their customer service, I can tell that they really wanted my car to turn out the best it could and I thank them for that. I just can't give more than 3 stars because of the price and not perfect result. If you have a brand new car and want to protect the paint, go for it, Opticoat is a great product. If there are any potential customers who are reading this I would be a happy to answer any questions on my experience if you send me a message.
