| - I will never ever eat from here again.
The quality seems to have declined and the service is definitely below par from my previous experience.
It wasn't the first time, but will definitely be my last time eating food from Gold Chef.
The prior experiences were fine and the food was good (not great), but in this last experience, it was a deal breaker. I ordered delivery the vegetarian selection, eggplant and tofu with garlic sauce (something I've gotten before on more than one occasion). When I received my food from delivery I received Chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce. Also, when I opened the container, I saw a large piece of chicken that had blue coloring on it. I couldn't believe it! I thought that was incredibly weird, and either way I wasn't going to eat it. I thought it was a mistake so I called back to correct the error again asking for the Tofu and eggplant in garlic sauce. They were very apologetic regarding the mistake and said they would deliver my order.
When I got the food the delivery man said, "the tofu is in a separate container and you just need to mix it with the other container." I thought that was weird of him to say but honestly didn't think anything of it.
When I opened the bag, I found the tofu in a separate container, deep fried and the other container had chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce. It seemed as if they did not even make an effort to make the meal with the tofu and just sent me the same thing I previously got which i thought was a mistake but just flat out seems lazy.
I called them again to let them know of their mistake again, but I never got an answer back. It just rang until an automated voice said to enter some code.
I did used to enjoy eating from here, but after this experience and 'red flags' from the blue colored chicken I think I'll pass.
