  • Constantly driving up and down Deerfoot Trail is rough on your windshield. Up to now, I've been lucky - but alas, a chip from a rock flying straight towards my face, unfortunately leaving a nasty chip right in my line of vision. The next day, I quickly ducked into Cal-Alta to fill in the chip before it spread. Twenty minutes and $20 later, I was done. I appreciated how they were diligent in making sure that my windshield hadn't gotten wet - apparently if they fill in your chip with water inside, it can shatter your whole windshield once it freezes! They've recently introduced a customer appreciation card - fill 3 chips and the 4th one is free! Hopefully it doesn't get to that point anytime soon...
