| - First impressions: I immediately noticed the peculiar Barney-color purple paint and grey tufted booth seating. Along the far left wall, there are three more booths that offer more privacy -- kind of like having your own VIP section. A regal wooden paneling envelops one side of the restaurant dotted with white tufted single chairs. I know they're trying to look modern, but for me, it comes off disjointed and more of a beauty salon look... but hey, at least it's clean!
Food: Of course, my bf ordered the chicken yellow curry. His review of his dish is that they skimped on the chicken and used sweet potatoes instead of regular ones. Fair enough. I had their pad see ewe with tofu. They give you the option of soft or fried, so I went with the latter. Let me just say, this is probably one of the best pad see ewes I've had! (Yeah, really!) It was just the right portion and they sprinkle it with some type of fried garlic on top. Price-wise, they're a little bit cheaper than comparable Thai places, so I was quite surprised.
Service was good. It could have been better considering there was literally only one other table besides us there, but the workers seem to be on their own breaks? Not sure, but I'd definitely wouldn't rule them out. We'll be back!
PS -- There are 4 locations in Vegas (Jones, Rampart, Fort Apache, and Chinatown.)
