| - I came here a few times for breakfast only. They serve basic breakfast food done fairly well. Their quality would not match some of the 4 and 5 stars that I have given out, but the food was good and the place is like a nice 50s drive in type. The best would be their biscuits and gravy and french toast. The biscuits and gravy does not look like anything special, in fact mine looks like it was going to be awful but it was wonderfully light and simple in terms of both the biscuit and the gravy, the only complaint would be very little sausage in the gravy. The french toast was well done, crispy outside, moist inside, only if they just use a little thicker bread to keep it that way but they use the basic slice bread so eat it fast before it becomes soggy. I also had pancakes which I thought was a tad too heavy and dry. I also had the corn beef hash, which is similar to other chain places which disappointed me a little. The other item I had was their waffle which is good and crisp on the outside but a little airy on the inside, would be nicer if it was a little more dense and chewy. Tried both hash browns and the country potatoes and they were well done, nothing especially great about them. Now I did not eat all of this in one seating. I came here 3 times, tried a variety of items and I would recommend it as a good place to have basic breakfast. It is a little out of my way but if I am ever in that part of town, I would eat there again.
