  • I ordered the Gumbo and the famous bread pudding. All orders come with complementary bread. I ordered the Gumbo spicy, and it was moderately spicy. For $13.00, they really skimped on the chicken and whatever else was in it. The Oyster House definitely has a better gumbo, and they make each one from scratch. Only problem is you'll probably wait three plus hours. The Famous Banana pudding saves the day. They make a toffee sauce that consists of a Jimmy Bean reduction. It was absolutely out of this world! In the viewers opinion, it is the best bread pudding he has eaten that dates this review. Outstanding. Verdict: skip the Gumbo, order another dish. It's absolutely mandatory you order the bread pudding though!
