| - We came to dinner with a few friends on a Sunday night and everyone loved their meal. The food was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had, and it was pretty pricey. It's located inside New York New York which is a fun casino hotel to visit.
I had the filet mignon and my boyfriend had the NY steak. We shared some loaded smashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and Mac n cheese. That sounds like a lot, but we also shared the sides with a few other people.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sautéed mushrooms were delicious with them. All the sides were good, except for the Mac n cheese. It was pretty dry and lacked flavor. Even adding salt didn't help.
Wine list was pretty mediocre. I was surprised since it's a steak house and Vegas. I ended up with a glass of the Rioja, which went well with the steak.
Service was great and they were really on top of everything. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and was able to answer all our questions about the menu.
Food was good, but again not amazing. Very expensive. If you don't care about price and want a good steak, this is a good option.
