| - We have 3 dogs whom we love very much and when you care for your pets as much as we do, it's never easy to leave them in someone else's care. We spent a lot of time researching who will watch them while we are away and hoped we made a good decision entrusting them in someone's care. We had heard lots of good things about Preppy Pet and have used them several times this past year alone. My dogs always seem to have a great time at Preppy Pet in Tempe. They're always so excited to go there and seem so happy when we pick them up. Yet, as happy as they seem, as a loving pet parent you can't help but to worry "what if something happens while I'm away?" So when we received a call that our beloved pup Loki became very ill while boarding and we were so far away, it was scary to say the least! Thank goodness for Tracy and the Staff at Preppy Pet Tempe! They have gotten to know my 3 dogs and their behavior so well that when one of them was not acting like himself, they checked on him and called us immediately concerned. After conferring with us, she took him to the Animal Emergency Hospital, stayed with him while the Hospital ran tests and until we decided to admit him over night. This was all from 8pm on a Sunday evening until well after Midnight! I think she may have stayed all night if we didn't plead with her to go home. I don't know many pet sitters/boarding facilities that would show that much care, compassion and attentiveness to a pet in their care but we feel blessed Tracy was there to take care of him when we could not be and she truly went above and beyond in my opinion. Not only did she give up her Sunday night to stay with him but she stayed in constant contact with us while he was in the hospital and even when we brought him home, making sure he was ok. She also made sure our other 2 dogs were ok while their brother was in the hospital and until we got back to pick them up. Tracy truly cared about his wellbeing and thanks to her quick actions our pup is doing great and we owe her a huge debt of gratitude for her responsiveness and her kindness.
As you make that decision on who to trust with your beloved pets in your absence, I hope this example illustrates the love and care Owners Tracy, Chad and their Preppy Pet Team will show your pets. I highly recommend Preppy Pets and am certain they will care for your loved ones like one of their own! Preppy Pet has earned a customer and friends for life!
