  • I tried. I really really tried to like Flying Biscuit. :( This place is always packed and people have left it pretty good reviews. I think I'm the exception to the rule. I've been here several times as I keep saying "I'll give it another shot. I'll go mid-week".....anddddddd it's the same not so grand experience for me. :( Let me tell you what I do like: 1) I like the location. It's in Park Road Shopping Center which is close to home. Check 2) I like the staff. Although they are COMPLETELY slammed at peek hours, they always seem to make me smile and laugh and they're good. 3) The apple butter is heavenly 4)Mimosa pours are HUGE. 5) those biscuits tho What I don't like and why I give it 2 stars: 1) Every time and I mean every time...I come here, My food order is COLD. I even order it differently so they'll have to make it fresh. :( 2) They seem to always forget to seat us. This is a popular place and they are slammed...I get that...but how you skip over our name when we see you mark it down the last several times we've been here is crazy. 3) on top of the food being cold, it's just not fresh. My scrambled eggs are overcooked, the pancakes are hard and stale...it's just not good food. So...I think this last visit has made me decide to break-up with Flying Biscuit when it comes to going here for the food. I'll come for the coffee and mimosas and biscuits...but not the food. (sorry..don't hate me!)
