rev:text	I'm beginning my review on a positive note: on the day that I checked out, I was served breakfast by a lovely woman named Alba. She was sweet, friendly, and professional---she alone is responsible for any positivity in this review, which makes me sad, because this hotel is beautiful, and I was so disappointed by my stay. I did bring these matters to the attention of the hotel, but my impression from reading other reviews is that this is not an isolated incident! From beginning to end, my stay here has been a circus. Repeated requests for boxes I'd shipped to the hotel went unanswered. My room was not cleaned for the duration of my stay. I'm fairly neat, so for the first two days, this was no biggie. But by the 4th day, a girl needs toilet paper, ya know? My television never worked. The hotel was in the process of switching remotes, which they did, but never re-programmed the TV. I asked for this to be fixed...it never happened. When I checked out, I was charged for room service I didn't order. The desk representative took it off the bill, but informed me that this was a courtesy, as the receipt wasn't signed. That's because I didn't order anything! So frustrating. Renaissance, you're a hot mess, and it's a shame, because you're beautiful. Looks fade, y'all. Get your act together.
