My husband and I rented a car last week for 3 days. Upon returning the car on Tuesday the 13th my husband left his watch and cigar in the middle console of the car. Wednesday morning the 14th my husband calls Enterprise to tell them he left it in the car. They supposedly called the lady who rented the car after us and she told them that no watch was in the middle console. So if that is the truth then that means that someone with the cleaning crew at Enterprise took my husbands watch. The cleaning crew said it wasn't in the middle console when they were cleaned it. I know for 100% fact that it was. Yes it was our error for accidently leaving the watch in the car but how sad that whoever cleaned the car out took the watch and was dishonest about it not being in there. Enterprise seemed too busy to even have a concern that the watch was missing. My husband was given that watch went he went into the Navy almost 20 years ago by his grandfather who is no longer with us. That is why we are desperate to try and get it back. We will no longer be using Enterprise to rent anymore vehicles because of this incident and the dishonesty of their employees.
