  • Needed emergency care for our 10 yr old dog on a Sunday and not many options are available. Our pet was experiencing constant body tremors very rapid panting, high body temps to the touch and was very lathargic. Found this clinic and walked in unannounced. Since we never treated there, we were quickly registered an taken to an examination room where a technician wrote down all the pertinent medical info and indicated the Dr would be in shortly. About 15 minutes later we were informed an emergency had come up that the Dr had to deal with before seeing us. After more than and a 90 minute wait we inquired when the Dr might be in. The response was not encouraging as we were told the Dr was seeing their regular clients before he would see us since they had decided we were not a major emergency. Decisions about getting medical care is based on severity. Another 40+ minutes and one more inquiry before finally seeing the Dr. Dr was very apologetic and proceeded to examine our dog. He was very gentle with his patient and thorough, explaining to us as he went, what he was checking and what he was finding. He suggested a number of different treatment steps, and what they would cost. He was receptive to providing treatment to deal with the pain, buying us enough time to return to our regular vet the next day. Long & short of it was care was great, but communications and wait time wers not satisfactory.
