This is for the Warner location however I cannot find it on here.
Let me start by saying I do really like Dr. Davis-Best. She delivered my son and makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to answer my questions. She took me on as a patient at around 34 weeks because my doctor (in same practice)was switching practices and never told me and was also due a few weeks before me but still took me as a patient knowing she wouldn't be there for the whole process, which really irritated me.
I do feel bad for Dr. Best because I feel she was given a lot of responsibility when not only one but two doctors left. They changed from Womens health specialist to New Horizons my last week of pregnancy (which was given very little notice) so I had to redo everything like a new patient.
Every time I come in I have to make sure I have no plans because a simple check up can take up to 2-3 hours to be seen and dismissed, which having an 8 week old son whom I breastfeed isn't exactly ideal. And it wasn't great super pregnant and irritable either.
You're lucky if you don't have to wait ten minutes when you call just to make an appt. It is extremely unorganized, I feel like I always have to re answer a million questions when I come in and somehow something of mine is always misplaced, such as my file. I am also asked all the time "why are you here again?" Uh because my doctor told me I needed to come in? I don't know! There is one or two nurses who I do really like but overall it is just a headache.
I was a few minutes late for the first time EVER today (I live 45 minutes away bc I moved in 3rd trimester) and I called and called and the phone line either wasn't working or it said the office was closed. So as soon as I came in I was told before I could explain that I was late and would have to wait. I told them I was fine waiting because I always have to anyway. I also had to pay a cover for my PP check up because I was out of my 6 week PP, which I understand isn't the receptionists fault, however I feel this appt. Should still be covered Sense my 6 week checkup had complications and I was told I had to come back before even discussing the 6 weeks things (such as birth control).
Overall the experience here has been rough. My husband hates that I even still go here because it is so unorganized and takes forever to be seen and we always want to tell new patients coming in to walk back out. I understand taking time with patients and learning a new system but 2 plus hours is excessive.
I wish I could take Dr. Best with me because I do not want to start all over, but unfortunately I cannot .
