Last Monday, I ordered a classic gyro sandwich via Eat24. I liked the convenience that gave me especially when you can set up a schedule for your food to be ready. Having said that, they were quick in service. I walked into the restaurant, and my food was ready after transaction.
Ambiance: The interior of this shop was a bit rundown. It's a shame because it seems like they get a lot of customers, yet they don't seem to care for customer experience. It almost reminds me of a diner with old looking seats, tables and decor. It's not really something I want to see you while eating.
Food: The classic gyro seemed average in taste. The most notable part of this sandwich was the meat. I loved how tender it was as it made the meal enjoyable. Honestly, I could've eaten that on its own or maybe with salad. One setback about it was the over execution. With out together, nothing seemed to pop out except for the gyro. It was almost as though, I could do without the other ingredients.
Customer Service: I may have put this at a four star had the rep didn't make me feel so unwelcomed. I walked to the counter and he stared at me not asking what he can help me with. Instead he continued staring with a scowl on his face! It was unbearable and I almost wanted to ask what his problem was. Luckily, another server came up to me and asked what I needed. Anyway, that was one of the worst experience I've had in a long while! Maybe they need to train that man about being courteous or put him at the back with the cooks. He really didn't have a place to be up front looking so upset.
