Can I give no stars??? We took our 10 year old to urgent care because his fever of 103 wasn't responding to medicine. At the urgent care they tried everything & his fever kept climbing, they said we needed to go straight to the hospital because his temp had reached 104 & he was very sick & dehydrated. We checked in at Cardon, and after a 30 second consult with triage, she said no food or water & sent us wait in the waiting area for several hours. 2 hours into waiting, my dangerously dehydrated son was begging for water, so I went and asked the nurse if he could have a small sip of water, she rudely said no & sent us back to the waiting area for another 1 1/2 hours. I really wish they had let us know that we wouldn't be seen for 3+ hours & let us make a decision to wait or go to another hospital. Yeah, maybe the dr's are good, and they have equipment designed for children, but It's not worth it. I will never ever ever come to this hospital again if I can help it.
