I was a little thrown by the bleh strip mall location at first... but then, that's pretty normal for Phoenix overall I guess. The place is set back into a little courtyard, so the outside seating is pretty relaxed with no cars whizzing by or anything.
This is a popular place, for sure - for good reason. So prepare for a wait. It's the type of place where you walk in, grab a menu, and stand in line to order - then they bring you the food after you order. I've always been a fan of that style, so when you're done eating, you just leave, but it took so long that I was wishing I could just relax at a table instead of standing in line for over 30 minutes, but whatever.
I loved the menu. Short but sweet with creative breakfast options. So many things I wanted to try. I loved the biscuits and gravy. Coffee was meh - made in mass quantity instead of to order. My girlfriend liked her breakfast, but didn't love it.
We'll be back...
