Others correctly identified this hotel as something akin to a Day's inn with a few upgrades. It's hardly a resort by any stretch of the imagination. It has a small pool, a man made lake, some tennis courts, some tired old bikes, a couple kayaks and canoes, etc. This place may have seemed a bit spiffier in 1980, or whenever it was built, but it doesn't come close to today's resort standards. Everything just looks thirty years old and feels like it, rooms, decor, finishes. My sliding door to a glorious view of the parking lot has hardware that is all banged up and has clearly been repaired often. Nothing to rave about here. But the staff were friendly and that counts for something. The best part of this resort is an early morning walk on the limited grounds to listen to the birds calling to each other and watching the sunrise over the lake. Watch out for the daily $19 resort fee. You've been warned.
