This location of Los Reyes is a bit run down and has a noticeable sewage-like smell, which sets a poor tone for your meal. Once you get used to that you will find yourself in what is essentially a diner with a Mexican menu. The tortas (sandwiches) for which they are named are okay, but the ingredients are not quality. The ham slice which is on almost every torta is a slice of pressed ham pieces that could have come out of a can. The breaded beef is a wafer thin slice of beef encrusted in soggy breading. And the roll is shaped like a bolillo but is soft and crustless, although it is grilled to give it a bit of crisp. It's not horrible, but it's not tasty either.
They could do a lot better.
