| - First time ever leaving a review in Yelp. This has to be said.
I came here because of a Groupon. The price for the Groupon was very good, should have known that was a red-flag.
The color in my hair did not turn out, so it needed to be fixed. I HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR THEM TO FIX MY HAIR. If I chose not to, I would just have to get my stuff and walk out with the hair at it's current state. While I am explaining to them that this is not fair, they tell me that it is basically my fault bc my hair is too dark, I've been getting my hair done this way for 20 years so I know what my hair can and cannot do, but to entertain their notion I say, if my hair is too dark and you knew this, then why didn't you tell me about this possibility before now that I am sitting by the sink with my hair soaked and bleached in the wrong the color? Mind you I haven't looked at a mirror yet, the stylist was the one that said... "Oh no.. it came out bad." Whaaat??? Also, she said I had to pay extra because I had a Groupon... she actually said it! The Groupon doesn't cover what they had to do to FIX MY HAIR. No it doesn't. But it is safe to assume that the business can do the task advertised in the Groupon correctly?
I would also like to add that the stylist was working on two people at this point. I really do believe that she was too busy and that's why the mistake happened.
Fix your mistake, and don't charge me extra for it. I came here to relax and enjoy myself knowing that when I walked out those doors I would look great. Not to argue and be worried about how your mistake will come out and be ripped off.
To give her credit: the stylist fixed it and she managed to do a good job with the color after all. Upon closer inspection at home I noticed a chunk of the hair on the nape of my neck was cut off at the root... maybe fried it and cut it off thinking I wouldn't notice? That's going to look great as it grows out.
Whatever you do don't go there with a Groupon. I really believe they want to get you in there and then take more money from you somehow.
