  • We were recently in Cleveland traveling and decided to kill a couple hours with our three kids. So, we came to the zoo. I guess I was a little disappointed. I thought there would be more animals and a little more activity. Now, I know that the zoo can't and should NOT do anything about this... but it was a warm day. Most the animals were laying down, or hiding. So, we did not see much activity with the big animals. We couldn't see the lion, tiger or bears (oh my) doing anything except sleeping. The monkeys were hiding on their perch up high. It was a longer walk between animals and you had to spend some time trying to find them in their habitats. The highlights for us were the Giraffes and the Sea Lions. The kids did enjoy it as this was newer to them. It's a good way to spend an afternoon, but not great.
