  • To say that I love Short Leash is an understatement. In fact, they will be catering my wedding this November because I want to share the wonderfulness that is Short Leash with all my family and friends. But enough about me, what you really want to know is why you should eat here: 1) I have never had a dish that I didn't like from Short Leash! It's hard to narrow it down to few favorites, but I definitely recommend the Aiko (add Sriracha if you like spicy), Moki, and Devil Dog. And definitely get the chips for your side. They are homemade and delicious! The fried pickles are also a great choice if you're looking to start with an appetizer. If you happen to be here for dinner, get the bacon-wrapped cheddar brats since they only serve it after 5 p.m. and also because it's amazing. 2) Not only are the toppings unique and interesting, but there is enough variety to satisfy everyone in a group. I have vegetarian friends that love Short Leash, and if you happen to have friends who eat gluten free, they can leave happy too. 3) You can definitely taste the freshness of your ingredients, and I love that everything comes from local vendors. 4) The staff at Short Leash are always super nice and welcoming, especially the owners Brad and Kat. 5) Booze! They have a great selection of craft beers and they also have local AZ wines on tap. The truck was great on its own, but now that I can have a beer with my hot dog, it's just that much better. 6) Brunch! You might be wondering how a hot dog could possibly taste good at breakfast. I'm not quiet sure either, but Short Leash has found the secret, and it is damn delicious. At this point, I don't know why you are still reading this and not at Short Leash!
