| - Just DONT DO IT. There are better grocery delivery services. And the other ones don't deceive you into a 40 week contract.
Absolutely terrible quality produce. Horribly overpriced, too. No follow up nor follow through on customer service cases. For the money, go to Whole Foods, save (yes, really), get a better experience and 100x better quality organic vegetables and fruit.
The produce spoiled within the first 2 days, but even still, arrived not only bruised, extremely discolored, and in a quantity much less than promised, but also there were punctures in the fruit that are only made by finger nails! Yuck!
Speaking of punctures, I opened the sour cream to find that the protective seal was punctured as well. How do we not know if someone along the way poisoned it (seriously)?
The only thing half-way decent was the milk, but that went bad within 2 days after opening it. Keep in mind that I took in the delivery no more than an hour after it had been sitting in the ice chest outside.
Ordered a dozen eggs, too. Saw that 3 of them were crushed when I opened the carton.
I bought their ice chest for $5 as some sort of proclaimed promotion. You think that when you buy something, it's going to be new, right? Well, this was scuffed up with black marks all over. Somehow they "usually" charge $70 for this?
It feels like this whole service is a sham and what you're really getting are farmer's market leftovers. I'd seriously question their proclaimed 'organic' and hormone-free status on products as well, given that they're not holding up to any of their other promises.
I'm still waiting on my promised refund from my last delivery. Let's see what happens.
If you really want "farm fresh" and farm direct, you're better off driving to an actual farm. And I'm saying that from Las Vegas!
